"Amber" (Windsong HH Sirius Amber Alert, FCh) finished easily in early
March and is already on her way to
Her LCM with a 1st placement and BOB!! She only needs 2 singles to

"Bo" (BIF HH Heartland Leblanc Mirabeau, FCh) also finished easily with
an exciting BEST IN FIELD!!!
BO is our 30th different Best In Field winning sighthound! She is
looking beautiful and will hit the
Showring later in the year while she pursues her LCM!

"Marshall" (Heartland HH What Women Want, FCh) (Bo's big half brother)
finished FAST in the Midwest and
Only needs that last pesky major for his conformation CH!

"Glimmer" (HH Heartland Glimmering Goldfish, CD, FCH) from way up in
Canada finished her ASFA FCH a few weeks ago and then had a THRILLING
Canadian National Specialty by finishing her CD! Then she won Winner's
bitch (altered) and then went onto Best Of Breed Altered at the National
Specialty...to top it all off, she then placed FIRST in the
Triathlon!!!! CONGRATUALTIONS to owners Bill and Jerry!!!!! WE ARE

And we are expecting PUPPIES!!! Glimmer's litter sister "Danica" (HH
Heartland Heart of Gold, FCH) has been bred to the beautiful Am/Can CH
Cariad's Mr. Bo Jangles, JC "Bo" He is a 3/4 brother to the #1 whippet
in the US for 2007. (BIS CH Cariad's No Doubt at Baccarat)

The puppies are due in the middle of July. We are hoping for a
beautiful litter of typey, talented runners!

Bert tied for 1st in FCH Greyhounds but forfeited to sister Pyro and he now needs **1** pt for his LCM!!!

"The most exciting thing that happened today was that RINGER managed to get himself into the top 10!!!
He was 10th in a 32 dog NAWRA meet in the NW where all the super fast race dogs race!!! I couldn't believe it.
He has made it into the top 10 several times on the oval but I never expected him to have such a great day on the straight track"
said proud owner, Beth Levine, Serendipity Whippets!!! He finished his SR (NAWRA)
on Sept 30 and is very close to his OTRM2 ! ! ! GOOD BOY RINGER!!!

Heartland HH Maverick wins a 3 pt major under Mrs Lee Canalizo
"Ziggy" is out of Group Winning Ch HH Moonlight Becomes Her, SC
and Ch Saxon Shore Braveheart, SC ROM
Ziggy now has 10 pts and a major and is always
owner handled by Patty Price.

On Sat. Oct 14, 2006 "Taya" won the FCh Stake and BOB! "Baby Bop" was 2nd and "Goldie"
was 3rd. "Greta" (mother of Taya) won the Veteran Stake, Cary was 2nd and Sydney was NBQ!!

On Sunday Oct. 15, 2006 "Danica" (HH Heartland Heart of Gold)made her debut and
won the Open stake and went on to BOB!! She is a Tommy daughter (Greta grand daughter) Taya was 3rd in the FCh stake,
Baby Bop was 4th and Goldie was NBQ. Sydney won the Veteran stake and Cary was 3rd!!
Bert survived a hard collison in the prelims but came back to win the Greyhound FCh stake!

"Amber" won Best Whippet Puppy under Michelle Billings and went on to a Group 2 under Bettie Krause
in a very large puppy hound group!

went Best of Winners at the Elsie Murray Canine Centre Society show on November 20
in Cloverdale, BC for five points; he now needs just 1 point to finish his Canadian championship!

Last weekend (Nov. 14) in California, Ringer made his AKC lure coursing debut,
and finished 2nd (by 1 point!) to a huge 5 point major
in a stake of 20 open whippets, for his first 3 points towards his FC!

to new CH "Sidney" CH Heartland HH Fantabulous

"Reba" HH Heartland The Rodeo Queen wins AGAIN under

Reba wins RWB on Saturday and WB, BW on Sunday, now up to 3 pts from the puppy class.

The Lincoln Nebraska shows were worth traveling to. Oct 2, Heartland HH What Women Want (Marshall) was BOB on Saturday
HH Heartland The Rodeo Queen (Reba) was BOB on Sunday, Oct 3. Both earned 1 point each.
Reba is turning out to be quite the little head turner.

she does get around the ring without rearing and bucking she does get a good look from those judges.
In Belleville ILL she got her first point under Mrs Patricia Nemirovsky de Alsina
Her practice at the Salina Kennel Club puppy match brought home a Group 1 Ribbon. And then Sunday
under Bonnie Lonnil Clarke she roped a RWB to a major :)

The July NOTRA Grading Guide is out and all four of the Greta x Derek littermates
(Tommy, Taya, Ringer & Kai) are Grade B!!!
As are Sydney and Mac!!

"Wren" (CanCH Priory HH Silver Lining CD, SC, FCH, OTRM) finished her OTRM at NWSGA's July 11 NOTRA in Abbotsford, BC!
She is our first OTRM titled whippet ! Congratulations to her owner Beth Levine!!!

June 12 & 13, 2004 NEW FCH "Nori" HH To The Lighthouse, FCh,OTR.....
Nori finished her ASFA FCH with a BOB. She is our 5th FCH to finish so far in 2004!
and "Ringer" BIF HH Serendipity Eight Bells, FCh, OTR earned 2 firsts towards his LCM.
Both are owned by Beth Levine, Serendipity Whippets

We tried racing (NOTRA) for the very first time and had a good time despite running a bunch of rookies who had never worn a muzzle
or been box broken. (Tommy, Taya, Mac, Sydney,Bella, and Baby Bop) ....I think everyone won at least 1 race....
several won several races and ended up in the Top Ten...and ALL earned lots of OTR points!!!
OH and Bert earned 2 legs towards his JOTR title!

"Ursula" HH Heartland Perfect Moon....
made her showring debut at the Gainesville Dog Fanciers Association Match and won BEST PUPPY IN MATCH!!!

The "Beauty Queen" litter girls are making their showring debuts this month.
They are named for one of our favorite whippet women CH Saxon Shore Flashing Lights, FCh, ROM
aka "Maxine the Beauty Queen". This litter is line bred on her and these little girls are
very exciting having gorgeous faces, solid bodies and spectacular movement !!!
They were co-bred and co-owned with Vickie Smith.

At the CKC shows May 22, and 23......HH Heartland The Snow Queen "Snow" won 3 puppy BOB's 2 Group 1s and a Group 2.....
her sister HH Heartland The Sweet Potato Queen "Goldie" won 1 BOB, Group 1 and RESERVE BEST IN SHOW!!!!
HH Heartland The Rodeo Queen makes her AKC debut in a couple of weeks in the Midwest with Vickie.
"Roseanne" HH Heartland The Rose Bowl Queen might be available to a loving show/coursing home on a co-ownership.

Bagheera finished another totally undefeated racing year!!!
This makes him #1 Rhodesian Ridgeback for 2003 in LGRA
(which is his 3rd year in a row in the number 1 spot by a significant margin!!),
and tied #4 All-Breed!!! He finished his SGRC III.

His brother Eraser Nose earned his CGC and has 1 leg towards his CD!
Hopefully he will earn the other 2 legs this year which would
qualify him for his Versatility Certificate.

The Greta x Derek puppies are off to an amazing start in lure coursing...
out west "Ringer" (HH Serendipity Eight Bells) has been to 2
ASFA trials and won BOB at both of them! Taya (HH Bal du Moulin Rouge)
has 87 points including a first and 2nd a BOB and a BEST IN FIELD!!!
Kai (HH Sweet Smell of Success) also has a 40 point 1st place, as does "Tommy" (HH Heartland Fame).
Deja and Ariel have yet to make their debuts. The repeat litter is looking good with
"Pokey" (HH On Broadway)
making his CKC debut and winning 2 BOBs and a Hound Group 1
and Hound Group 2 from the 6-9 month puppy class.
